Since 1996 we have our own blasting facility.
The blasting plant is well equipped with 4 overhead cranes of five ton, 2 blasting rooms (max. 20m) and a 1100mē working area. With a team of professionals we take care of every job.
At our plant we can blast ships, trailers, machinery parts and offshore industry related parts.
With special equipment we can measure layer thickness, gloss etc. and provide the client with this information.
The abrasives we use are korund, steel grit and stainless steel grit.
What is sandblasting?
Sandblasting is a general term used to describe the act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface. Sand used to be the most commonly used material, however as sand is restricted to be used because of health regulations other materials are now used in its place. Any small, relatively uniform particles will work, such as steel grit, copper slag, walnut shells, powdered abrasives, even bits of coconut shell.
